TOKEN2049 announces initial lineup for 2024 Singapore event

As the premier crypto conference in Asia, TOKEN2049 (September 18-19, 2024) aims to draw 20,000 attendees this year in Singapore. The Big Whale will be present.

TOKEN2049, the global crypto event, has announced its initial lineup of headline speakers and key sponsors ahead of its return to Singapore. The event will take place from September 18-19, 2024, at Marina Bay Sands, coinciding with the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2024 weekend.

TOKEN2049 is expected to attract 20,000 attendees from over 150 countries, returning to Singapore to bring together industry leaders and cultural figures in Asia's economic hub. Following its 2023 event, this year's TOKEN2049 will feature a week of over 500 side events across the city-state from September 16-22.

The 2024 Token 2049 Singapore will offer a variety of activities merging Web3 technologies with entertainment across four floors of the conference venue.

Attendees can expect interactive VR zones, AI art experiences, among other activities. The event aims to provide an environment where entertainment and learning coexist, with participants using TOKEN2049-branded buses and pedalled trishaws to navigate Singapore.

This year will also see the introduction of TOKEN2049's startup competition, aimed at showcasing emerging Web3 projects. Hundreds of applicants will be evaluated, with the top 10 selected to pitch their innovations on the global stage.

Alex Fiskum, Co-Founder of TOKEN2049, commented: "TOKEN2049 has always been a platform that brings together ideas, technology, and culture. This year we are reimagining the conference experience. With 20,000 attendees and over 500 side events, we are confident that TOKEN2049 Singapore will meet high expectations. We look forward to sharing more updates as we approach the event."

The first round of over 200 confirmed speakers includes Richard Teng, CEO of Binance; Anatoly Yakovenko, Founder of Solana; Balaji Srinivasan, Founder, Investor, and Author of The Network State; whistleblower Edward Snowden; Arthur Hayes, CIO of Maelstrom; and Emad Mostaque, Founder of Schelling AI, with more to be announced.

TOKEN2049 Singapore's title sponsors include OKX, a crypto exchange and Web3 technology company; BingX, a crypto exchange and official partner of Chelsea FC; TRON DAO, supporting decentralized commerce; DWF Labs, a Web3 investor and market maker; Bitget, a cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 company; and Bullish, a regulated digital asset exchange.

For the first time, The Big Whale will join as a media partner, providing extensive coverage and insights throughout the event.
